Spaulding for Children

Kris Henneman – MSW, Vice President, IAATP Project Director, Spaulding for Children. Kris has worked to support families and communities for over 21 years. He has experience in child welfare, mental health, residential services, and community development. Kris has worked as a Direct Service Provider, a Therapist, a Residential Manager, a Trainer, a Training Director, and Executive Director. Kris is currently the Vice President of The Spaulding Institute for Family and Community Development.

Jean A. Niemann - ACSW Training Director Spaulding for Children Southfield
Ms. Niemann is a Certified Social Worker and earned both her B.S.W. and M.S.W. from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Jean has worked extensively in Family Preservation. She has worked in direct service as a family counselor, primary therapist, and as a program supervisor. She later became the Associate Director of the Family Preservation Program. For several years, Ms. Niemann served on the Board of Directors for the Michigan Home-Based Family Services Association. She has also been a trainer for the State of Michigan Family Independence Agency Child Welfare Institute. The Institute is a comprehensive training collaborative for all child welfare workers, both private and state. Ms. Niemann has trained extensively throughout the United States.

Harmony

Pamela L. Wolf - LCSW, MSW Founder and Executive Director of Harmony
Pam's focus is the provision of quality services to children and families. As an instructor at the University of Tennessee Legal Clinic, Pam worked to identify comprehensive solutions for homeless families. Pam developed 'The Parent Refuge', a program designed to support single mothers. Following the adoption of her daughter, Pam founded Harmony Adoptions. Harmony provides comprehensive adoption services to adoptive families, birth families, adoptees and the community at large. Pam provides leadership for the Infant Adoption. Training Initiative (IATI) and is active with Harmony's Adoption Support and Preservation (ASAP) program. Both programs tap into Pam's passion for promoting comprehensive adoption services with her enthusiasm for education.

Pam Frye - Adoption Services Director for Harmony
She Received her MS in Educational Psychology, Community Counseling from the University of Tennessee. Pam comes to Harmony from the Helen Ross McNabb Center, where she spent 15 years counseling children and their families. Pam has a special interest in the needs of both rural and urban children. She and husband Kevin adopted their daughter from China. Pam’s work at Harmony combines her passions - meeting the needs of children, counseling, and parental education.
